WGXA-TV of Macon Georgia interviewed Vietnam Veteran

Michael J. O'Steen Adjutant/Quartermaster - 7/15/2019

On Friday evening prior to 2019-2020 VFW Department of Georgia State Commander and Auxiliary State President, Jeff Carroll and Dawn LeMay WGXA-TV of Macon Georgia interviewed Vietnam Veteran, Past State Commander Al Lipphardt regarding his remembrances of Vietnam during this 50th Anniversary of the War in Vietnam.  We take great pride in having WGXA-TV choose to interview a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Georgia who deployed twice to Vietnam returning to Georgia.

Also seen in the video are National Council Member Robbie Clark of the Department of Oklahoma, 2019-2020 Department of North Carolina State Commander Craig Armstrong, National Council Member Greg Stafford of the Department of  North Carolina and Past State Commander Doug Blevins of the Department of North Carolina.  Also attending but not in view are National Council Member Ashley Little of the Department of Arkansas and Past State Commander Dennis Doherty of Alabama.  Tremendous respect and support for Al Lipphardt was clearly evidenced by the presence of these Comrades from the Southern Conference.
