Contact your local VFW Auxiliary to participate. 

Students must be in grades 9, 10, 11, 12. Students must attend school in same state as the sponsoring VFW Auxiliary. Home-schooled students are eligible, foreign-exchange students are not. Students must be a maximum of 18 years of age at the time of local entry, and they must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national. 

 

First place - $10,000

Second place - $5,000

Third place - $2,500

Fourth place - $1,500

Fifth-Eighth place - $500
